Clinic Application System performance - Slow for some users (Resolved)

System performance has returned to normal and has been stable for the past hour. All indicators suggest that a backend change we released two days ago caused the problem. These sorts of behind-the-scenes updates are common, sometimes multiple per day, and do not normally have the potential to adversely impact performance. It is one the many things we evaluate before a change can be published to the live environment. It looks like we have missed something with this update. The engineering team will now formally review this incident so we can learn from it.

Thank you very much for your patience during this time. I understand the significant pressure healthcare providers and administrative supporters are under at the moment, and appreciate that slowed system performance is the last thing you need! Pleased be assured we take an incident like this seriously.

13:34 AEST (Update)

We have implemented some changes that involved reverting a back-end change implemented on Tuesday. Early indicators are showing improved system performance. We'll continue to monitor closely.

13:18 AEST (Update)

It is taking longer than expected to implement the changes. We estimate they'll be released in approx. 15mins. Apologies for the ongoing issues.

12:40 AESDT (Update)

We are going to implement some changes in approximately 30 minutes that may assist. We are still investigating causes though as we are not certain the update will resolve the issue fully.

Just an update to let you know we are continuing to investigate this. It is proving difficult to isolate. There have been no recent updates released in last 24 hours that should be able to impact performance in this way. Sorry for the inconvenience we know this is causing you and your clients.

11:06 AESDT (Update) We are getting reports of system slowness from a number of users. We can see some unusual server performance behaviour but have not yet identified the underlying cause. We are continuing to investigate.
